On-Site Spectator Ticket Purchases (CC)
On-Site Spectator Tickets
Spectators can purchase tickets on-site using credit or debit cards via our Stripe Readers.
Once they have entered the venue, those who have not yet purchased tickets can identify and enter the credit card purchase line to the right.
Overview
When a Stripe Reader is assigned to an event, staff can collect spectator ticket payments directly from the Check-In page. Payments are processed through the connected Stripe Reader, and successful purchases automatically mark attendees as checked in.
Accessing the Check-In Interface
- Log in using the event’s Check-In of Event Director user account.
- Select the Staffing menu item to the left, which will open the staff page
- Click Copy Checkin Link
Paste the link in an incognito/private browser window, which should open a page that looks like this:

Stripe Reader Requirements
A Stripe Reader must be assigned to the event: https://staging-events.prephoops.com/events/1666/stripe-readers
If a reader is correctly attached, a Collect Payment button will appear on the Check-In screen.
Wi-Fi Connection Requirement (WisePOS E)
The WisePOS E must be connected to the internet to process payments. Because it communicates directly with Stripe’s servers, it requires a stable Wi-Fi connection (or Ethernet via dock).
How to Connect the WisePOS E to Wi-Fi
All Stripe Readers should be already connected to the assigned mobile Hot Spot shipped with the Reader.
Turn both devices on and verify connection.
Changing or Verifying Wi-Fi
- Swipe from the left edge of the screen to open Settings.
- Enter the admin PIN (Stripe default: 07139).
- Tap Wi-Fi Settings.
- Select a network or verify the current connection.
Confirm the network shows Connected and has internet access. If it is not working, please power-off and turn back on to reconnect.
Collecting a Payment
- Open Payment Modal
Tap Collect Attedance Payment to open the ticket purchase modal.

- Select Stripe Reader

Best Practices for On-site Staff
